Cembrit, a through colour fibre cement system from Trumark Group was specified for the facade of a new learning centre built as part of the upgrade project at St Ignatius College in Drysdale, VIC.

For this school upgrade project, the old administration buildings at St Ignatius College were demolished to make way for the new state-of-the-art MacKillop Senior Centre, consisting of 16 learning areas combined with a lecture theatre.

For the facade, which was an important part of the upgrade, the College sought a product that was not only modern and attractive, but also non-combustible, durable and maintenance-free. When the architects and builders on the education project discovered Trumark’s Cembrit fibre cement panels, they knew they had found the perfect solution.

For the project, they selected multiple Cembrit panel colours including Cembrit Patina in P545, and Cembrit Solid in S101 and S212.

Additionally, Trumark was selected to supply Cembrit facade panels because of the company’s ability to provide all the facade system components and accessories to enable an easy installation. Choosing Trumark for the project meant having to deal only with one supplier for the complete installation, with the comprehensive supply scope backed by invaluable advice from Trumark for a faster and easier install.

Trumark supplied all the accessories and components required for the Cembrit facade system including Trumark weather barrier, Trumark 35mm top hats and Trumark joiner top hats.

As Melbourne’s leading suppliers of top hats and accessories, Trumark can help with your next facade installation.
